Found the Slacker Manager blog via Alex Barnett. This manifesto talks about being a slacker at work (note: it’s not the same as being lazy).

Richard MacManus: “the world probably doesn’t need yet another blog search or photo-sharing service.” My vote for most underserved area from his list: community-building services, especially those that might bring people of different generations together.

As her son completes elementary school, Laura ponders the importance of good grades: “I definitely want my kids to understand that it’s not so much the grades that count but what they represent and the opportunities they allow.”

On the so-called mommy wars: “it’s surprising how similar the lives are of working moms and homemakers. Not much separates them, and even less separates their kids.”
