Announcing My New Technology Gig and Blog at RedMonk

I am pleased–no, thrilled–to announce that I am joining RedMonk as an analyst. The bulk of my technology blogging will now happen at tech decentral, where I have some initial posts up describing what’s so great about RedMonk, what technologies I’ll be covering, and why I named the blog tech decentral.

You can subscribe to tech decentral here.

I will continue to blog at Anne 2.0, on topics that don’t fit either tech decentral or Web Worker Daily.

    Fantastic news!!!

Looking forward to reading and if you ever venture towards the Enterprisy world of SAP in Walldorf or the SAP Network (http://sdn.sap.com) please let me know.

We do a few things with one of those points you cover so please don’t hesitate: Scripting languages for rapid web development, including PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript, Python, and Ruby

hmmm actually we do a lot with all of those points ;-)

Craig–I will definitely venture towards SAP’s enterprisey world, James mentioned you have been doing really interesting stuff with scripting languages. I’m impressed with how well SAP gets blogging.

Thanks, Steve, so sorry I missed you! You should have called! You guys should come to Colorado on vacation… I told LBM that we’re doing a trip to Estes Park in July. Be great to spend time with you all. If that won’t work out, I’m sure I’ll get to San Francisco in the next couple of months.

[...] That’s right, RedMonk is now an imposing four bodies (and 25% female . I’m positively delighted to welcome Anne into the fold. I could go on and on about her background and skills (just look at the job she did with the Sandbox template, for one) - but I don’t have to: just read some of her stuff, and you’ll know exactly why we’re so happy to have the opportunity to work with her. And lest you think we’re biased as her new associates, let me point out that both Bill and Ryan think it’s a good idea as well. I suppose it’s possible that we’d be wrong, but Bill and Ryan?
