First female speaker of the house = the big leagues for sure! I actually think my own decisions to take time off from work and prioritize family has been mostly beneficial for my career. Taking time off allowed me to return with a fresh eye and working from Colorado means I have to explore new ways of doing things. I meant to write a whole blog post about it, but all I ended up doing was linking to Laura's post... the perils of link blogging, not getting to the counterargument.

Anne- re:11D Choices, you should listen to NPR from last night on Nancy Pelosi. She didn't enter politics until 47, after raising 5 kids. And she's definitely in the big leagues!
