Are you going a place like Whole Foods (which is really good quality but really pricey)? If so, you might want to look for a source of local beef from a smaller independent butcher. Given where you live, I guarantee that there's something that is both excellent and local (possibly even pasture rather than grain fed), not to mention substantially cheaper. (yeah, out of all those other excellent points you made, I latched onto the cooking, lol) Where are you getting your beef?
